Advance reservation season

NPS lists the advance reservation season for this campsite as June 15 - October 15.

After that season closes, NPS says higher-elevation sites may be booked beginning three days before the trip starts.

A season governs when advance reservations are taken, not whether camping is allowed.

Listing notes and park-wide rules

The Recreation.gov listing name carries the note “No Campfires”. It is quoted from the listing and not checked by Bearpath; confirm current rules with NPS before your trip.

Park-wide distance rule: NPS states that Recreation.gov will not book a campsite more than 15 miles from a trailhead or from the previous campsite, or more than 10 miles on the coast.
